... the Families in these Groups (below) have similar relationships to the previous Group. Once again, if we are to remove the red extensions from each letter, we will end up with the first Family for each Group. In this case, we have purposely selected groups that follow one single pattern. For example all letters in Family #2 have the same extensions added to mid-right side of the letter. And all letters in Family # 3 have that same extension added at the bottom right side of the letter. This does not apply to all letters, but does apply to the majority of the alphabets. Here is an example of a Group that would not follow that pattern.

Do you see it? Let's go over them together. But before we do so, let's divide the Groups don't have a "leg" into another. To your left are letters that have legs. For example, the first letter has 2 legs, the second has 1 leg, and the third has three legs. An example of a legless Group would be the one above. For our purpose we will look at only Groups and not the individual letters in when categorizing.
